Installing MacKEY5 2008

  1. Download and save the file MacKEY5.dmg and open the virtual disk (if your browser has not already done so) (requires Mac OS X 10.2.4 or better).
  2. Double-click the Installer icon and wait until the MacKEY5 program and fonts have been installed.
  3. The MacKEY5 application is located in the "Applications" folder. To start MacKEY5, double-click on the MacKEY5 icon.
  4. You can now enter your Chinese text, using standard Pinyin. Test your system by typing "jintian tianqi hen hao". Convert this Pinyin sentence to Chinese characters by pressing F11. (You may want to disable the Exposé function F9 and F11 from System Preferences since MacKEY also uses these keys.)
